Wild About Buddha’s Brew Kombucha!
I know we are technically a week into fall but y’all, Texas doesn’t really do seasons! It’s been pretty mild here the past few weeks so I’m basically treating this as Summer: The Sequel. In that train of thought, there’s nothing more I love on a warm day than relaxing and enjoying a delicious bottle of kombucha!
I received the following product free of charge in order to facilitate my post. All opinions are my own.
If you’re craving a fizzy drink but trying to stay away from soda, kombucha is perfect for you! Don’t know what kombucha is? Well, here’s a bit of info from the Buddha’s Brew site:
Kombucha is made from culture – a live blend of healthy bacteria and beneficial yeast – which is immersed into a mixture of organic sugar and tea. During this fermentation, the culture consumes the tea and sugar producing: live cultures, beneficial acids, enzymes, amino acids.
Now all that probably sounds weird and you may be wondering, how does this stuff taste? Well, I’m here to tell you guys that it tastes AMAZING! Buddha’s Brew has such a range of flavors that they’ve quickly become one of my favorite kombucha companies. Plus their drinks are brewed in Austin, Texas so they hold a special place in my heart.
Just like any soft drink, not all kombucha drinks are equal. Some company’s produce kombucha that’s way too tangy and sour for my taste. If I’m going to drink this instead of a soda, I want it to taste good! That’s why I swear by Buddha’s Brew. Now only do they have SO MANY FLAVORS, but they actually taste like what it’s supposed to.
The first drink I ever tried was their Ginger kombucha. Now, I may be ginger obsessed but this drink was amazing! It was lightly sweetened and not bitter at all. Tart Cherry quickly became my second favor because it tasted like candy. Whatever craving you may have, Buddha’s Brew has a flavor to hit the spot!
Looking to kick the soda habit? This is the drink for you! Amazing taste and health benefits is what makes Buddha’s Brew the best substitution out there. Give it a try and you won’t regret it.
If you’re in the Austin area, Buddha’s Brew can be found in local farmer’s markets and on tap at various establishments. If you live in the Houston area, you can check here and find it at a store near you!
