What I’m Listening To!
Happy Monday everyone! I hope you had a wonderful weekend full of food, family, and friends! I was blessed with a short work week so my weekend started off early but with a bang. I’m definitely dragging today but it’s nothing a few good tunes can’t fix!
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll see that I post on my stories pretty often and I’ll usually share what I’m listening to. I have a WIDE range of music so I’ll usually only post the “popular” songs that most people will know. I’ll throw out musicals and Spanish songs into my mix but they sometimes don’t make it onto social media.
To start your week off right, I wanted to share five of my currently most played songs. I’m thankful for that unlimited data because I tend to stream a lot. I’ll start with a song on Spotify and thirty minutes and five playlists later, I’m in a WHOLE other genre. I can’t be the only one, right? Anyways, here are a few of my current favorites which I hope you’ll enjoy!
Andy Mineo – You Can’t Stop Me (Remix)
This song is so awesome because it’s a HIT. You may have even heard it on Spotify’s Beast Mode playlist. It just gets you fired up and it’s no wonder it’s popular. This particular version is a celebration of the original song going Gold. It’s just as good with a mix of Bachata and Spanish influence. LOVE IT!
Another Andy Mineo song. He recently released an EP after taking a break to deal with life. This song show’s Andy’s rise from the ashes as he comes back from debilitating anxiety and depression. Even if you can’t relate to that part, it’s sure to get you fired up for your day.
Taking it to the other of the music spectrum, CADE is a young up and coming pop artist with electronica influences. This guy has an awesome producing track record and has been featured on other songs. Warning Sign comes from his person EP and I can’t wait to see it gain traction. He’s definitely a guy to watch and his songs get more airplay.
Marshmello – Friends (Borgeous Remix)
Good ole Marshmello! He’s super popular on YouTube and his producing skills are pretty awesome. I like a good chunk of his stuff but I’ll be honest and say that I didn’t care for this one. It wasn’t until I heard this remix that I hopped on board. My husband LOVES Borgeous and I can see why. It’s awesome how one artists’ interpretation of a song can be hugely different.
Judah & the Lion – Conversations
I actually heard this song during a spin class. Judah & the Lion is getting pretty popular so I wouldn’t be surprised if you’re familiar with their other songs. However, there’s something about the vocals in this one and that banjo in the background that really pulls me in. It’s a good song to through into your playlist whether you’re at the gym or driving around!
So there’s my crazy mix of music. I like giving everything a chance and just enjoying what’s out there!
