Weekend Update! 

Y’all, I was so glad for Saturday to come around. Last week was so crazy! Had to travel for work and went to a concert with Jordan. On top of that, kept up with workouts and had to dodge massive flash floods in our neighborhood Friday night. This girl was wiped out!

Another Saturday at the park! I didn’t run as long as I would have liked but that’s okay! I did a hardcore leg workout Thursday morning and I was on my feet all night at the concert so of course I was still sore and stiff. After my run, I relaxed in a bath with some Epson salts and immediately felt better.

Went to the movies with Jordan and then we tried a new pizza place in our old neighborhood. We had such high hopes because we love MOD Pizza and we thought this would be like it. Well, not so much! It may have been due to the fact that the place just opened this week but it left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, it looked good but wasn’t the best tasting. It was still nice to spend the day with Jordan and we learned that MOD Pizza is still the best, haha!

I woke up on Sunday not feeling the best (may have been the pizza). Decided to switch my run and rest day so I could be 100% on my long run. I didn’t want to go out there while feeling nauseous. Took the morning to rest and work on blog stuff. After resting up a bit, helped Jordan give the house a deep cleaning. Being gone for a good part of the week made it seem like the house was in utter chaos. Does anyone else feel this way? Looking forward to building my mileage this week and getting back on my normal schedule!
