Happy Wednesday friends! Yep, you read that right. Today, I’m sharing with you a Treadmill Hill Workout. Whether this heat is bumming you out and pushing you toward the treadmill or you’re like me and live in an area that’s flat as a pancake, this workout is for you! Hills, hills, and so many hills. This workout is actually quite sneaky as most of these short ones are. Give it a try and let me know how you get on!

Treadmill Hill Workout

  • Warm Up – Use 3 Songs To Get You Through This
    • First Song: Easy Jog/Conversational
    • Second Song: Increase Speed and Add Three 30 Second Strides
    • Third Song: Start with 2% incline For A Minute, Increase To 4% For A Minute, Increase To 6% For A Minute
  • 30 Seconds – 8% Incline Followed By 30 Second Recovery
    • Repeat 8 Times

That’s basically it! The recoveries can be walks or jogs but I would suggest keeping the incline on the whole time. Eight repetitions doesn’t sound like much but I will admit that my legs were burning halfway through! Overall, this workout can be done under half an hour so you can sneak it in and be done with your day.
