The Weekend In Pictures!

Happy Monday! This weekend was pretty calm although I did get a chance to see a few friends. It’s been a rough couple of days lately so seeing some familiar faces was definitely uplifting!

Nothing like waking up on Saturday morning to the sounds of Snowflake throwing up in the living room. Y’all, there’s never a dull moment in our house. I used my boot to cover the baking soda I used to clean it up, lol.

After our lovely wake up call, we started off our morning with some breakfast! I couldn’t agree more with this coffee cup.

I planned to go to a mid-morning yoga class but I had a few minutes to spare. I stopped by my gym to pick up a shirt and it was so nice to see my friend! My membership is on hold while my back gets better so I was so happy to catch up.

My friends have an organization called Fitness In The Loop which is an information hub for all free fitness events around the city of Houston. They sponsored an event for an up and coming yoga studio. Yoga at a bar was a first for me but it was awesome!

After yoga, I picked up this awesome book to read. Shut Up and Run is a great book written by Peloton instructor Robin Arzon. There’s something about her that’s just so inspiring and this book definitely gets me motivated to get out and run!

This is one of the passages that just got me fired up and ready to hit the pavement.

After some time reading, Jordan and I played Battleship! We have a small collection of board games and we love to bring them out during rainy days.

I received an awesome makeup sample from Influencer. I’m a HUGE highlighter fan so this primer is perfect for me. It provides a subtle glow for everyday wear!

After making sure it fit in our budget, I went ahead and reserved my Peloton Tread! I was floored when they announced this and I’m so excited to be able to get one!

Sunday morning was pretty normal. After church, Jordan and I went back home and caught up on shows. We’re fasting one meal a day for six weeks along with our church. We try to stay busy during lunch time and we don’t really notice it anymore.

We took Snowflake for a walk around the neighborhood. The weather was in the teens earlier this week and it was in the 70s on Sunday! Gotta love Texas, y’all!

Jordan and I went for a drive and stopped at Buc-ee’s. I found these Sour Sloth Gummies and I had to have them. I’m not a HUGE fan of sweets but I get the urge once in a while.

Did you do anything exciting this weekend?
