Summer Bucket List 2022

body of water during golden hour

It’s that time of year friends. The time of year where you go outside and are immediately drenched in sweat. Or is that just me? It’s summer time and I’m loving all the sunshine. Mostly in the early morning when it isn’t too hot though! We’re looking at triple digit weather this weekend so summer is in full force down here. Today I wanted to share a few items on summer bucket list!

Summer Bucket List 2022

Summer Bucket List: Go Swimming

We technically live about 45 minutes from the beach but I don’t like Galveston. The water is not the pretty blue like California or Florida beaches. Plus driving to the island when there’s only one way in and out stresses me out. Luckily, we have friends with pools so I can see us enjoying some time in that!

Summer Bucket List: Lots of Snow Cones!

We had a snow cone stand attached to the car wash in our neighborhood but they never opened up after the pandemic. That means we’re officially on the hunt for another great snow cone place nearby. We have our eye on a couple of shops so I’m excited to give them a try!

Summer Bucket List: Grill More Often

I’ve love getting some extra time outside and with our covered porch, grilling is so much fun. I think I want to check out some grilling recipes and try my hand at them! I love to cook and try out new methods so why not give the grill a shot this summer?

Those are the top three things I’m hoping to do more of this summer. Like I mentioned at the top of the post, it gets HOT here so staying cool is a must. You won’t find me without my giant jug of water this summer. I also make sure to lather myself with sunscreen when I’m outside. However you spend your summer, be cautions when it comes to heat and be sure to protect your family from the elements!

What are some things on your summer bucket list?
