Running Blogs To Follow!
Happy Wednesday friends! I hope you’re having a lovely week. I’m trying to get into the groove of lifting and running all while trying to keep these allergies at bay. It is easier said than done some days. However, I wanted to pop in and share some of the awesome blogs that I read.
When motivation is lacking or I simply want to see how other runners approach training, I head for the blogs. These four ladies come from all walks of life and I absolutely love reading about their running adventures.
Organic Runner Mom
I love Sandra because it seems like she does it all! She has kiddos, runs both road and trails and even does triathlons! Not only is she active but she also loves sharing natural and organic recipes she creates! Her blog is full of training recaps and awesome product recommendations.
Running on the Fly
Kim is a runner who loves ALL THE COLORS! I really identify with her because she loves dressing up in brights and in themes. She’s always smiling and her love of running truly shows in her writing. She’s not a slave to numbers and runs by effort which I absolutely love. She keeps it real and shares her journey without trying to push her thinking or beliefs onto others.
Taking the Long Way Home
Wendy! I love Wendy’s writing because she is very honest about how her Rheumatoid Arthritis affects her running. While she could have been easily thrown in the towel after her diagnosis, she has continued to adapt and grow as a runner in this season. And y’all, Wendy can lift! I really love seeing her weekly workouts and what kinds of lifts she has been working on. She really talks about the importance of strength work and again the fact that she shares about her journey with RA is so dang inspiring!
Marcia’s Healthy Slice
Marcia is one of the runners I look up to because she has multiple World Major Marathons. What I love about it is that she’s not boastful or rude about it. She puts in the work and it really shows. She’s smart in her training and even talks about taking it easy when her body isn’t feeling up to it. She shares the ups and downs of training which keeps it real!
These four ladies inspire me in different ways and I love keeping up with their blogs and their stories. Head over and give them a read and I’m sure you’ll feel the same way!
