October Goals!

October Goals

What’s up friends! It’s Thursday and this girl is so ready for the week to be over. Last week was super busy but this week, I came down with a cold so I’ve just been working on taking it easy. However, just because I came down with a cold doesn’t mean I’m letting it take me out! It’s been a while but I wanted to pop in and share three goals I have for the month of October!

October Goals

October Goal #1: Build Up Mileage

My leg pain is FINALLY on it’s way out. I don’t feel it throughout the day and I’ll sometimes get a brief second of it when I run. I think it’s a safe time to slowly start building back the mileage. This is will discipline will have to come in. I will have to get back outside and tap into my endurance to get through the miles. Mentally, I’ll want to be lazy but I do need to get back out there!

October Goal #2: Meal Plan Effectively

There are a few events that will take up some time this month. With personal commitments and if I do plan to increase mileage, nutrition will play a big role. I will have to make a plan and stay on it! Meal planning helps but I’ve slacked off a bit. There are a few healthy meal options at my local grocery store but I would also like to cook some season dishes and maybe bring the crockpot back out!

October Goal #3: Try Two New Studios/Classes

The fitness scene in Houston is BOOMING. There is always a new studio opening up and new classes to take. One of my friend teaches at a rowing studio. How cool is that?! I definitely want to take one of his classes this month. I’ve also been trying out a studio that offers dance fitness classes. There is on that is just straight choreography that TERRIFIES me but I also want to take it? Does that make sense? I’m sure I’ll be a hot mess but it allows me to have fun and express myself so I think I’m going to jump the gun and do it! Whether it’s these two classes or something else, I’d like to try some new things!

Those are my three goals for the month of October. I am so ready to kick this cold so I can sound normal and get this show on the road!
