Keeping Pup Hydrated On The Run!

Keeping Pup Hydrated On The Run

Happy Wednesday friends! I hope you are having a lovely week so far and you have a great week ahead of you as well. While it is technically spring, I know it’s been a mixed bag of weather all around the country. However, it has been warm enough for walks with Snowflake. We’ve been keeping her in a good walking routine and even though the temps are climbing, I hope we can continue going on walks. The important thing will be to keep her hydrated on the run!

Just like us, our pups need to stay hydrated. They don’t sweat like we do so you’ll see them running around with their tongues hanging out. However, this means that they can also get dehydrated just as we would. Depending on your neighborhood or part of town, you may be lucky enough to have walking trails with doggie fountains. There is one park near us that has this option but we tend to walk Snowflake within our neighborhood. I have done the old fashion thing where I’ve poured water into my hand as she laps it up but I feel like she’s not quite drinking as much as she could. That’s where the Nano Bowl comes in!

Stunt Puppy is an awesome brand because they make gear for our furry friends. From tough harnesses and collars to cool gadgets like the Nano Bowl, they make what our pups need! The Nano Bowl is awesome because it folds down to the size of handkerchief and attaches to leashes or belts! You can take it with you on hikes, walks, or road trips.

Keeping Snowflake hydrated is no easy feat. She will make a MESS if she’s thirsty. However, the Nano Bowl has a wide opening and it’s deep enough to hold about 3 cups of water. I’ll pour some water from my water bottle or water pack and Snowflake will drink until it’s gone! We’ve taken it out on some trail runs or longer neighborhood walks and it’s been a life saver! She stays hydrated and it gives me the peace of mind. Plus, we are able to stay outside longer which I’m sure Snowflake appreciates!

The Nano Bowl is easy to clean, easy to store, and loved by pups! If you are looking for a handy accessory for your furry friend, you’ve found it! Head over to their website and pick one up!
