Friday Favorites: February Edition!
Good Morning! Can you believe it’s already March? Time is passing so quickly! That being said, I lost track of time and didn’t post this in February. Since I’ve been gone for a while I figured I would share a bit of my favorite things. This one will be a mix of fitness and non-fitness items but I’d LOVE to hear some of your favorites!
Radian BlenderBottle
GUYS! This bottle is a game changer. We actually own about five different BlenderBottles in our home BUT this one is my current favorite. I received this for free and I fell in love with it as soon as I received it. The Insulated Stainless Steel Radian model keeps your drinks cold for up to 24 hours. I love making my protein smoothie before hitting the gym and this keeps it nice and cold for me to enjoy after my workout! It’s got a center mounted spout to drink out of and it’s trusty shaker! It’s definitely made up of sturdy materials and it just looks too beautiful!
Peloton Bike
Okay, now I know I’ve made a whole post on my Peloton bike but I just had to include it on this round up. With everything that has been going on lately, I have been a hermit and have not wanted to leave my house. The first time I got back on my Peloton after receiving the bad news, I kind of didn’t like it. However, I knew I had to stay active to day after day I kept making myself get on the bike. For the past two weeks nonstop, I have been getting up and getting right on the bike. There’s something about the instructors and the community that have just lit a fire in me again and make me want to chase my goals. I remembered how much I missed that heart pounding, out of breath feeling and it’s amazing how much that has helped me mentally. I’m telling you guys, it’s definitely worth the investment!
Revenge Body With Khloe Kardashian
I know everyone has their opinion on the Kardashian family and that’s totally cool! Honestly, I don’t keep up with their shenanigans much but while I was just not feeling life and sitting on the couch crying, I stumbled upon this show. I respect Khloe for being so upfront about her body transformation and how it was much needed after a crazy breakup. It’s not all physical as one would think when it comes to the Kardashians. Khloe actually encourages the mental change in the contestants as well as the physical changes. There’s something admirable about some of the people on the show that overcome abuse relationships, awful childhoods, PTSD, and have such beautiful transformations. I’ll find myself cheering along at the end of the episodes where they show the reveals. Trust me, this one is a feel good transformation show.
Milk Makeup Blur Stick
Y’all, I know I’m all about health and fitness but I like to fancy it up a bit when I go to work and church. That being said, I know the very basics of makeup and I’m nowhere near as fancy as those beauty bloggers and YouTubers. I received the Milk Makeup Blur Stick free from Influenster and I LOVE it. Highlighter is something I really enjoy using and this really has multiple purposes. It helps me blend into my foundation while making my cheekbones pop! If your makeup arsenal is very basic, I would consider adding this!
Curiosity Box by VSauce
I’m a huge science nerd and I geek out with weird books and YouTube videos about random subjects. That being said, I’m a fan of the YouTube channel VSauce 3 and wanted to support the channel by purchasing a Curiosity Box this quarter. I received it in late February and it was filled with so many awesome goodies. There was a hard copy of one of my favorite books (Reality Is Not What It Seems) as well as a cool shirt and a couple of games. If you love all things nerdy, I’d check out the VSauce YouTube channels and give this box a try! If you use that link to order your box, you and I get $5 off!
So those are my favorites for the past month, what are some of your recent favorites?
